A fortune teller, a canopy of plastic grapevines, and a wandering accordionist set up shop in a venue of heavenly Italian cooking. Spaghetti with meatballs and pesce alla livornese compliment fine wines. Couples whisper by candlelight and prom-goers talk shyly in the corners. An intimate ristorante in Italy? Almost. It’s the Il Sorrento Restaurant by founder Mario Messina that opened in 1949 and was a Dallas tradition until a few years ago.
Even though the restaurant is no longer there, in keeping with the past and built on the same site as the former restaurant, The Sorrento reincarnates Old World Italy with classic luxury.
With a rooftop terrace and sundeck, The Sorrento in Dallas offers beautiful city views. An infinity edge lap pool and spa are complimented by an outdoor Italian-designed plaza with private cabanas. A 24-hour fitness center with state-of-the-art cardio equipment is onsite as well. In the kitchen, residences have built-in under counter Wine Chillers with glass doors, modern European custom style cabinets, and granite countertops. Bathrooms have hand-set tile floors and dual Kohler® sinks.
The Sorrento in Dallas is only a short drive to great shopping venues such as Preston Center, Highland Park Village, Inwood Village, SMU, Lincoln Park and Northpark Mall.
We look forward to hearing from you!
