Much anticipated, this past week the popular west coast burger chain, In-N-Out Burger, opened its doors in Dallas. The new In-N-Out Burger Dallas is located at Caruth Haven and Central Expressway near the high-end residential neighborhoods of Park Cities and Highland Park. This high traffic area in the center of Dallas is sure to bring in heavy amounts of foot traffic to the popular burger establishment. Do you think In-N-Out Burger has the best burger?
In-N-Out Burger might be the new burger joint in town, but don’t forget about the other local burger chains which not only have reputations of their own for having the best burgers but are also located in Dallas most popular neighborhoods.
Twisted Root, located in Deep Ellum and newest location near SMU was named in the top 15 burgers according to Texas monthly. Twisted Root is known for it unique atmosphere, specialty and in-house ground game burger menu and meats including; real Buffalo, Venison, Elk, Ostrich, Emu, Boar, Antelope and Lamb. I highly recommend the Buffalo burger.
The Grape on has also been named for having the #1 burger in Dallas, according to Texas Monthly 2009 as well as “Best Neighborhood Bistro” by Modern Luxury Magazine. Located on Greenville Avenue between the M Streets, The Grape is in one of Dallas most distinguished and established neighborhoods. Be sure to call and make a reservation, these great burgers are only available between certain hours on Sunday and Mondays.
Lastly, I recommend Jakes Burgers in Uptown. Located in the heart of Uptown not only will you enjoy an award winning burger but an amazing atmosphere. Jakes Old Fashioned Hamburgers in Uptown is the perfect place to get some grub, grab a beer with friends and enjoy the spacious patio.
Where do you go to eat your favorite burger in Dallas?
