Furnishing Your Dallas Condo or Loft? See: The Dallas Design District

Designing or decorating the perfect Dallas condo or loft can be challenging. Let the Dallas Design District help!

While the sheer number of streets (33) seems overwhelming, The Dallas Design District has thousands of options in antiques, luxury fabrics, custom decor, books, art and rugs to make it worth your while.

Many shops are now open to the public – usually the “on the street” shops.  Some of the shops are STTO (strictly to the trade) or TTO (to the trade) only, so you’ll want to bring your interior designer with you when you shop (they must show a business card). Your Dallas loft or condo will love you for it!

Stores open to the public:

Legacy Antiques, 1406 Slocum Street, Dallas: French antique mirrors, French antique chandeliers, and all types of mantles, sideboards, buffets, sofas, chairs, and paintings.

The Mews, 1708 Market Center Blvd., Dallas: Think Paris or Portobello – this shop has elegant decor from abroad. Clocks, dressers, chairs, bed frames–find that perfect accent for your home!

LDF Silk, 1229 Slocum Street, Dallas: All things floral appear here – the “fusion of design and inspired vision.” They’ll customize any floral design for you. They also offer luxurious plants, trees, and Christmas arrangements.
