A recent report by the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University noted that overall home prices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area have been reset to 1990s levels (when adjusted for inflation). Additionally, the latest Standard & Poor/Case-Shiller index showed that Dallas-Fort Worth’s home prices aren’t showing signs of a rebound anytime soon. In fact, as of April 2009, home prices are down five percent in the Metroplex compared to April of last year.
